GUITAR TUNER
Thick To Thin
Start with the low E string and work toward the high e. Thinner strings can slip out of tune while you tune thicker ones.
Tune Up, Not Down
If a string is sharp, tune below the target then slowly bring it up. This keeps tension consistent and the string stays in tune longer.
Pluck Gently
Pluck closer to the middle of the string, not the bridge. Gentle plucks produce fewer overtones, giving the tuner a cleaner signal.
Wait 1–3 Seconds
Let the pitch stabilize after plucking — especially on thicker strings. The most accurate reading comes 1–3 seconds after the note sounds.
Quiet Environment
Background noise confuses microphone-based tuners. Tune in a quiet room for best accuracy.
Manual Mode
Use Manual mode when your guitar is very out of tune or you're changing strings. It locks detection to the selected string's frequency range.
